Minecraft 26.1 has one of the biggest technical changes to Minecraft in years, meaning that even the smallest mods need an update now.

• Remember to only use mods, resource packs, shaders and other content that are marked as compatible with 26.1.
• Any worlds that are upgraded to 26.1 cannot be downgraded - backups are recommended.
• Java 25 is required, which most launchers (except MultiMC) handle automatically.
• In this alpha, you will not see a version on the title screen.
