The Telescopic Lens is craftable again — for everyone.

The tier-2 lens recipe asked for the tier-1 lens from Exposure: Expanded, a mod listed as optional. Minecraft quietly drops any recipe containing an unknown item, so without Expanded installed the recipe simply vanished — no entry in JEI, no lens, and since every higher tier is built from the one below, no telescope progression at all. Thanks to everyone who reported the mysteriously missing recipe.

The middle slot now takes Exposure: Expanded's lens if you have it, or a plain spyglass if you don't, so the upgrade path is intact for Expanded users and the whole lens tree works in a vanilla Exposure setup. Nothing else about the recipe changed.

Everyone should update — on older versions the lenses are uncraftable without Expanded.

Requires Exposure and Architectury API. Works on dedicated servers — install the same jar on both sides.
