All players start as humans. After death, a player turns into an infected with negative effects. To cure yourself, eat a golden apple. The admin chooses one of three game modes that affect difficulty and rules.
Modes:
Fast — Keep inventory on, instant respawn, infected have no debuffs, cure is disabled.
Normal — Keep inventory on, normal respawn, infected are slower, cure works.
Long — Keep inventory off, normal respawn, infected are slower, have mining fatigue and reduced health, cure works.
Commands:
/infection menu — open mode selection menu
/infection mode <fast|normal|long> — set game mode
/infection status — show current mode and team stats
