Список изменений

A longer note is read from further away

An echo carrying a long note now arrives further up the train and reads it as it comes, instead of appearing beside you and starting to talk. It gets a carriage of run-up for every couple of lines, so a full page finishes about the time the echo reaches you rather than being half-read.

  • Longer notes start sooner and further off, so you hear the whole thing instead of the first line or two.
  • Short notes are unchanged — they still arrive alongside you.

0.771.0

The engine room speaks, and the menu joins in

The support page now leads with how many changes were made this week. The main menu occasionally does too, across today, this week, this month and this year.

0.770.0

Loading your own builds back is less of a maze

Loading a build from My Builds no longer dead-ends. A dimensional carriage you move aside or load under a new name is usable straight away instead of after a restart, the name box opens on a name that is actually free, and a name already in use is a warning you can edit rather than a refusal that throws your answer away. Loading also stops asking you to save every unrelated plot in the editor, and asks about the one build it is going to replace instead.

  • Rename existing and Load as new now register the room they create, so it opens without restarting the world
  • The name box suggests the first free number, and says so in place when you type one that is taken
  • Load no longer shows the 'save before switch?' list; it warns only when the build being replaced has unsaved edits, before anything is written

0.769.0

Builds the build server lost come back on their own

If the build server no longer has builds you uploaded, Dungeon Train now notices at the title screen and sends them back up from your own copy — including builds that survive only inside a backup. They return private, so nothing is published without you.

  • Runs at startup, with no prompt: your build, your copy, your private profile.
  • Recovers builds that are gone from this install but still inside a backup archive, without writing anything back to disk.
  • Turn on Confirm restores in Options > Dungeon Train to be asked first, and to choose whether backup-only builds are included.
  • Saving a build when your profile is full now tells you, instead of the server quietly deleting your oldest build to make room.

0.768.0

Clearer 'step off the train' confirmation

The confirmation that appears when you abandon a run now puts both options side by side and says plainly what happens: you die, it counts as a death, and there is no undo.

  • Both options on one row — 'Step off and die' beside 'Stay aboard'
  • Rewritten in the train's voice, and it now speaks to you rather than about 'your character'

0.767.0

Updates card on the death screen

The support page now shows how many updates the train has had, and when the last one landed.

Skip feedback questions you have already answered

The death screen used to ask the same feedback questions after every single run. Now, once you have answered one, it offers a "Don't ask me this again" tick box the next time it comes up — tick it and that question stops appearing. An envelope button on the last page still walks you through every question whenever you do want to say something, and un-ticking a box there puts that question back in the normal flow.

  • "Don't ask me this again" on any feedback question you have already answered
  • New envelope button on the death screen's last page walks through every feedback question on demand
  • Skipped questions stay reachable through that button — and that is where you un-skip them

0.766.0

Video Tools page rebuilt, with a section for what your viewers can send you

The Video Tools page is now tabbed — Commands, Viewers, Fresh start, Contact — and looks like the Credits and AI Policy pages rather than one long scroll. A new Viewers tab points at Death Notes and Love Notes: things someone watching your stream can send into your game from their own. Reset Everything and Join the Discord are now coloured buttons on the sections they belong to.

  • Video Tools split into four tabs
  • New Viewers section on Death Notes and Love Notes

0.765.0

Death Note and Love Note echoes read the note aloud

An echo sent by a Death Note or a Love Note now speaks the note it came from. When it reaches the player it was written for, it calls their name and then reads the note out one line at a time, pausing between lines the way someone reading aloud would. It looks like any other player talking in chat, because that is what it is meant to feel like.

  • The echo opens by tagging the player it came for — a highlighted mention and a sound only they hear, so a note read out while you are looking elsewhere still reaches you.
  • Lines arrive one at a time with a real pause between them, longer after a longer line, instead of the whole note landing at once.
  • The echo only speaks once it is actually alongside you — same carriage or the next one — and picks up where it left off if you leave and come back, or reload the world.
  • A note that is only a name still spawns its echo; it simply arrives with nothing to say.
  • The words are screened before they ever reach another player's chat. A note whose body is withheld loses its voice and nothing else — the curse lands exactly the same.

0.764.0

Adjustments to in-built narratives

Some of the train's built-in books and story series have been retuned.

Trade Everything updated to 0.10.0

Dungeon Train now builds against Trade Everything 0.10.0, which adds a payout-currency setting to the Trade Anything slot: when a villager pays you in a premium currency, the trade is worth a fraction of face value, shipped with diamonds at half. No vanilla villager pays out in diamonds, so the trades you make today are unchanged — and the required Trade Everything version stays 0.8.0, so nothing forces you to update.

  • Trade Everything 0.10.0: a payout in diamonds is worth half the value of what you traded in
  • Configurable per currency in tradeeverything.json (payout_multipliers); set an entry to 1.0 to turn it off
