Gentler opening: a mob-free start, then slimes, then normal
New runs now ease in over three stages. The first stretch of the train is completely free of hostile mobs, so you can find your feet, meet the villagers and grab starter loot in peace. After that, a stretch of harmless slimes gives you a gentle combat warm-up before the usual mobs and difficulty kick in. It's all on by default and fully tunable per world.
- The first ~10 carriages spawn no hostile mobs — villagers, traders and friendly mobs still ride along
- The next ~15 carriages spawn only slimes, for an easy combat warm-up
- Normal mobs and the usual difficulty curve resume after the opening stretch
- All three stages are on by default and tunable in dungeontrain-server.toml

Fixed players spawning under the train
Spawning or respawning onto the train no longer occasionally drops you through the deck and leaves you stuck underneath. On busy world loads the client could free-fall off the deck before the train's collision finished loading; the game now holds you on the deck through that window so you always start standing on the train.
