Backpacks keep their contents, and villagers will price your own items

Dungeon Train now ships Edible Backpacks 0.11.0 and requires Trade Everything 0.9.0. The headline fix: anything stored in a backpack slot used to vanish after a relog or a respawn — it now survives both.

• Backpack contents are no longer lost when you relog or respawn.
• The Upgraded Backpack recipe now takes a gold block in the middle of the 3x3 of backpacks.
• A villager's Trade Anything slot cycles through the items you are carrying, each with its own price.

The Train Builder (work in progress)

A soft release: the Train Builder is still in development and not yet fully functional, so expect rough edges and unfinished corners. It is a simpler way to build carriages, tracks and tunnels in a dedicated build world, and in time it is meant to replace the more complex Train Editor. For now both are here — hold Shift on the title screen to open the Builder, and find what you have made under My Builds.

• Still in development and not fully functional — this is an early look, not a finished tool.
• Intended to replace the more complex Train Editor eventually; until then the Editor remains the complete option.
• Hold Shift on the title screen and the Train Editor slot becomes the Train Builder.
• A My Builds screen, reachable from the editor menu (X) and the pause menu, lists everything you have saved.
• Build in a flat, empty world made for the job, with mirroring, resizable rooms and a live size and weight readout.
• Save a whole carriage in one piece — shell and interior together — as well as individual parts, tracks and tunnels.

Portal room editor shows where the doors go

Authoring a dimensional carriage room now shows you the two corridor doorways it has to be built around. A translucent door stands in each opening — the same door the corridor really hangs — so a wall across the walkway centre line is something you see while you build rather than something you discover by walking a portal.

• Both corridor doorways are marked in every portal room plot, and follow the room as you resize it.
• Toggle them with /dt editor doorghosts on|off — separate from the out-of-plot stray ghosts.
