Copycats

Copycat blocks (panels, steps, etc.) finally render as whatever material you put on them instead of a gray blob. Works on ship hulls, attached contraptions, and free-standing contraptions.

Thrusters

Thrusters from Create Propulsion: Simulated and Create: Cosmonautics now show their exhaust on the map: a bright white-blue jet at the nozzle that trails off into a stream following the craft's actual flight path. It arcs through turns, stretches with speed, and lingers briefly after engine cutoff.
Firing, shutdown, and throttle changes show up on the map in real time.

Contrails

Flying craft now leave contrails. They form a ways behind the ship (farther back the faster you're going), then slowly drift apart and fade out over about half a minute.
Contrails stay on the map even far from the craft, so you can scroll around the world map and see the whole ribbon until it dissipates.
All of this was built with performance in mind, so it costs basically nothing while cruising and cleans up after itself.
