Contentified 1.9, The Nature Update, is OUT NOW!! Feed Grass to Gazelles, go to the Nether Wastes and witness the brand new Nether Spires, and more!!!

Additions:

• Added Sulfur Goo.
  • 1-2 Sulfur Goo drops from baby Sulfur Cubes when they grow up.
  • 9 Sulfur Goo can be crafted into a Sulfur Goo Block.
• Added Sulfur Goo Blocks.
  • Can be walked through, albeit, at a slower speed than usual walking/running speed.
  • Can be crafted back into 9 Sulfur Goo items.
  • Is sticky like Slime Blocks, Ooze Blocks, and Honey Blocks, but does NOT stick to THOSE blocks directly.
  • Can be broken instantly like Slime Blocks, Ooze Blocks, and Honey Blocks.
  • Can be smelted in a Furnace to obtain the regular Sulfur block.
• Added Bananas.
  • Can be eaten to restore 2 full hunger icons and gives you decent saturation.
  • Can be crafted into the Banana Bunch block.
  • Have a 1% chance of dropping from Jungle Leaves.
• Added Banana Bunches.
  • A full block.
  • Drops 9 Bananas when broken.
  • Has a 0.5% chance of generating on the underside of the Jungle Leaves in Jungle Trees per leaf block.
    • 1-3 blocks can be found growing downward vertically.
  • Use unique sounds.
• Added Green Apples.
  • 1% chance of dropping from Birch Leaves.
  • Has a 50% chance of giving Mining Fatigue when eaten, but restores more hunger than a regular Apple.
• Added Pinecones.
  • 1% chance of dropping from Spruce Leaves.
  • Can be thrown to distract nearby hostile mobs and make them walk to where it lands.
  • Thrown Pinecones don’t damage mobs that they hit.
  • Can be used as Furnace fuel.
  • Can be launched from Dispensers.
• Added Golden Potatoes.
  • Crafted from a Potato and 8 Gold Ingots.
  • Gives you Haste II for 2 minutes, making it useful for large mining projects.
  • Restores 1 full hunger icon.
  • Can always be eaten, even when not hungry.
• Added Trowels.
  • Trowels replace broken blocks with the block in your offhand.
    • If you’re holding nothing in your offhand, then the Trowel will break blocks normally, without replacing them.
  • Loot tables dropped from replaced blocks is the same as drops from using your fist.
  • Trowels have double the durability of Shears.
  • Replaced blocks inherit mutual blockstates from the old block.
  • If your offhand block matches the block you’re trying to replace, then nothing will happen.
  • Trowels break blocks slightly faster than using your fist.
  • The Trowel is crafted with 1 Stick and 1 Iron Ingot, in a similar formation to that of Shovels.
• Added Gazelles.
  • Gazelles live in herds and follow each other around.
  • Gazelles can have up to 6 per herd.
  • Gazelles all run if one is attacked in a herd.
  • Gazelles will run from Players, but sneaking around them will keep them calm.
  • Gazelles have 2 unique animations for walking. One for walking regularly, and the other for prancing when spooked.
  • Gazelles can be bred using Leaves.
  • Gazelles jump super high.
  • Gazelles spawn in Savanna biomes.
  • Gazelles can be fed Grass of any kind (excluding the blocks), and feeding one Grass will result in you getting the Speed and Jump Boost mob effects.
    • After a Gazelle eats, it will be unable to eat again for 30-60 seconds.
    • Baby Gazelles cannot be fed Grass.
  • Gazelles drop Mutton upon death.
  • Naming a Gazelle “Gazelle” will make it use a Zootopia Easter Egg skin.
    • This skin doesn’t work for baby Gazelles because that would be extremely weird.
• Added Gazelle Spawn Eggs.
• Added Cluckshrooms.
  • Cluckshrooms spawn in the Mushroom Fields biome exclusively.
  • Cluckshrooms spawn in groups of 1-2.
  • Cluckshrooms can be bred using Seeds.
    • Baby Cluckshrooms are called Clucklings.
  • Cluckshrooms come in two variants: Red and Brown.
    • The Red Cluckshroom is the only naturally-spawning variant.
  • Cluckshrooms will convert to the opposite variant when struck by a Lightning Bolt.
  • Cluckshrooms lay unique Eggs that can be thrown to spawn the variant of the Egg.
  • Cluckshrooms occasionally plant Mushrooms of the same type when walking if ALL of the following conditions are met:
    • The location is completely dark.
    • The location is on top of Mycelium.
    • The Cluckshroom is an adult.
• Added Red Cluckshroom Eggs and Brown Cluckshroom Eggs.
  • Can be thrown, and have a chance to hatch a baby Cluckshroom (Cluckling).
  • Cannot be used in crafting recipes that normal Eggs can be used in.
• Added Cluckshroom Spawn Eggs.
• Added Netherrack Spires.
  • Just like Pointed Dripstone and Sulfur Spikes.
  • FUNCTIONALLY the same as Sulfur Spikes.
  • Can be found on the ceiling and floor of the Nether Wastes biome occasionally in clusters.
  • 4 Netherrack Spires can be crafted into 1 Netherrack block.
• Added Fire TNT.
  • Like TNT, but creates Fire in its explosion.
• Added Fire TNT Minecarts.
  • Like TNT Minecarts, but creates Fire in its explosion.
• Added Fire Dynamite.
  • Like Dynamite, but creates Fire in its explosion.
• Added the Droplet Pottery Sherd.
  • Included as a part of the loot from Inverted Tower Cindermaws.
  • Found in every Nether Fortress loot Chest, not interfering with the existing loot.
• Added 2 new advancements:
  • LEAF: Feed Leaves to a Gazelle
  • Look Over There!: Successfully distract a Creeper with a Pinecone right before it explodes
• Added 3 new Sulfur Cube archetypes:
  • Wind Explosion:
    • Blocks: Wind TNT.
    • Effect: Emits a wind burst after being ignited.
  • Fire Explosion:
    • Blocks: Fire TNT.
    • Effect: Emits a fiery explosion after being ignited.
  • Deadweight:
    • Blocks: Bedrock, Witherstone.
    • Effect: The Sulfur Cube cannot move at all (except for being affected by gravity and being pushed).
• Added 1 new gamerule: “fire_tnt_explodes”.
  • This gamerule controls whether Fire TNT, Fire TNT Minecarts, and Fire Dynamite can explode.

Changes:

• Updated the mod to Minecraft version 26.2.
• The mod’s blocks have been added to the following archetypes:
  • Bouncy: All Willow wood, all Maple wood, Stick Bundle.
  • Fast Flat: Blaze Rod Bundle, Breeze Rod Bundle, Thatch, Banana Bunch, Boron Jack o’Lantern, Soul Jack o’Lantern, Ender Jack o’Lantern (Redstone Jack o’Lanterns are excluded due to powering Redstone).
  • Fast Sliding: Frozen Core, Snow Bricks.
  • High Resistance: Scorching Soul Sand, Scorching Soul Soil.
  • Light: All Alpaca Wool.
  • Slow Bouncy: Polished Granite Bricks, Polished Diorite Bricks, Polished Andesite Bricks, Cobbled Sandstone, Cobbled Red Sandstone, Blue Nether Bricks, Dullstone, Dullstone Bricks, Quartz Ore, Deepslate Quartz Ore.
  • Slow Flat: Endorium Ore, Endorium Block, Copper Tiles, Copper Mosaic.
• Phantoms are now stupid enough to swoop down and continuously attempt to attack Scarecrows.
• Other monsters will now run away from ignited Creepers.
• Updated the texture of several blocks and items. The old textures are now available in the Contentified Programmer Art resource pack.

• Voidfeathers now stack to 8 instead of 16, and use their old cooldown once again.
• Reduced the spawn rate of Alpacas slightly, in favor of Gazelles.
• The Wind TNT crafting recipe now outputs 4 Wind TNT instead of 2.
• Maple Trees now occasionally generate within Taiga biomes.
  • This change is temporary until the Dappled Forest biome releases in 26.3.
• Removed the Maple Grove biome in favor of the new Dappled Forest biome coming in 26.3.
• Removed the semi-neglected “Show Own Nametag” option, as it was unnecessary.
• The mod’s Boats and Signs are now created WITHIN THE MOD ITSELF instead of using the Terraform Wood API.

Fixes:

• Fixed being able to mine the mod’s Iron, Copper, and Gold blocks with any tier of tools.
• Fixed the mod’s Copper blocks not being aligned properly in the Creative inventory.
• Fixed the TNT in TNT Minecarts no longer flashing when ignited.
