Requires my Redstone Emitters Require Redstone mod/datapack or any other mod/datapack that frees up crafting recipe of two blocks vertically.

This simple data mod/datapack adds compact 2x2 crafting recipes for stairs (3 blocks for 3 stairs) and slabs (2 blocks for 4 slabs), and fixes vanilla stairs recipe to give 6 stairs instead of 4. So, now stone blocks have 3 crafting recipes for their stairs and slabs: vanilla crafting table one (using 6/3 blocks), my compact one (using 3/2 blocks), and stonecutting (using 1 block). This, for example, frees you from need to place crafting table, craft stairs, and immediately break and retake the crafting table, that can be a nuisance when you are building a roof or something! I think I really can't say anything more about it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Compatibility with my Better Stones mod is included, adding and changing recipes for all stairs and slabs in the mod.

As this is a very basic tweak mod, you can freely port/recreate it for other versions.
