Cobblemon Radiant

Summary

Initial release of CobblemonRadiants, a Fabric / Cobblemon addon that adds a Radiant variant for shiny Pokémon.

Radiant Pokémon are designed as rarer shinies with dedicated visuals, a small quality bonus, and configurable admin / test tools.

• Added the Radiant variant for shiny Pokémon
• Added a configurable chance for a shiny Pokémon to become Radiant
• Added the radiant aspect to affected Pokémon
• Added a visual effect with purple stars around Radiant Pokémon
• Added a configurable custom sound for Radiant alerts
• Added a configurable built-in alert when a Radiant Pokémon appears
• Added compatibility with CSAR so built-in alerts can be disabled automatically when CSAR is installed
• Added a Radiant UI badge visible in the Pokémon summary and PC
• Added a Radiant icon displayed next to the Pokémon in addition to the shiny icon
• Added a configurable Radiant bonus with 1 guaranteed perfect IV by default and a small configurable EV bonus
• Added a default config file in the mod resources

• Changed Radiant bonuses to be applied only once
• Changed bonus behavior so stacking with Alpha Pokémon can be prevented through config

• Improved persistence so Radiant Pokémon keep their state after relogging
• Improved compatibility so Radiant Pokémon still work with Cobblemon’s normal shiny behavior
• Improved give command behavior so Pokémon are added to the party or sent to the PC if the party is full
• Improved UI clarity so the Radiant badge does not replace the shiny icon and both remain visible

Notes

• Radiant Pokémon are designed as rarer shinies, not as boss forms
• The Radiant bonus is intentionally kept light to make hunting rewarding without breaking balance
• Texts are translatable in French and English
• Available commands include /radiant status, /radiant reload, /radiant debug make-nearest-radiant, /radiant debug spawn-radiant <pokemon> [level], /radiant debug test-alert, /giveradiant <pokemon> [level], and /giveradiantother <player> <pokemon> [level]
