After the summer break, development is now continuing! The next minor update is coming and brings a few new features — mainly the new armor and the minigame credits. Version 1.21.8 is now supported as well!

Version 1.21.8 support

Since Minecraft has released version 1.21.8, it's now time for the mod to support this version as well. So feel free to test the mod in this new version!

Credits

Minigame-Credits

This update also introduces a brand-new credits screen. But it’s not just credits – it’s also a minigame! While watching the credits, you can play a rocket-style level where you have to dodge obstacles. The current goal is to reach the maximum difficulty level: Level MAX (14). The difficulty increases every 10 seconds.

Right now, ANY player can open the Minigame Credits without any requirements by simply using the command /thankyouforplaying. However, starting with the next update, this won’t be so easy anymore – so make sure to check out the new credits while you still can!

At the moment, there are no rewards for reaching certain scores... yet.

Armor

New Armor: Celestial Armor

The Celestial Armor has finally arrived! It’s an improved version of the Chromatic Armor, so craft it quickly to ensure you’re fully protected! The details about the armor are coming up next:

Pieces:

• Celestial Helmet
• Celestial Chestplate
• Celestial Leggings
• Celestial Boots

Stats:

• Toughness: 4.0
• Knockback Resistance: 1.2
• Enchantability: 19
• Repair Ingredient: Celestial Ingot
• (Base Durability: 46)
• (Defense Map: Same as Vanilla)

Chromatic Armor

With this update, there are also some changes to Chromatic Armor:

Stats:

• Toughness: 4.0 -> 3.5 (-12.5%)
• Knockback Resistance: 1.2 -> 1.1 (-8.33%)
• Enchantability: 5 -> 17 (+240%) | Bug!

As you can see, the Celestial Armor replaces the Chromatic Armor in many aspects to maintain balance and avoid introducing an overpowered armor into the game.

Wind Chime

Since the Wind Chime was nerfed too hard in the last update, its durability is now being increased.

• Wind Chime Durability: 80 -> 150 (+87.5%)

Advancements

This update also adds 2 new Celestial Advancements to go along with the new armor.

Future plans

Now that the summer break is over, updates will continue as usual every 10 days (on the 4th, 14th, and 24th). The next major update is still far off, as already hinted at the last changelog. I’m currently super happy with the Celestial class. Right now, the mod simply doesn’t need anything big or new. Until then, you can expect small new features and improvements to existing ones!
