Chat Compass Beta (Fabric) This is a simple client-side utility I made to clean up the Minecraft chat and add some basic quality-of-life features. It doesn't change anything on the server side, so it's safe to use on most multiplayer servers.

What it adds:

Message Aggregator (Anti-Spam): Instead of seeing the same message ten times in a row, the mod collapses duplicates into a single line with a counter, like [x5]. It keeps the chat much cleaner, especially on busy servers.

Local Prefixes: You can set a custom prefix for your own name using /cc prefix . Note that this is client-side only—it’s just for you to customize how your own messages look on your screen.

Timestamps: Adds a subtle time indicator before every message so you know exactly when something was said. You can toggle this on and off with /cc timestamps toggle.

Click-to-Copy: A quick way to grab text from the chat. Just hold Ctrl and Left-Click any message to copy it to your clipboard. No more retyping long Discord links or coordinates.

Commands:

/cc prefix — Sets your custom chat prefix.

/cc timestamps toggle — Enables or disables the clock in chat.

/cc colors — Shows the list of available colors for your prefix.

It’s a lightweight mod designed to stay out of the way until you need it. Works on Fabric 1.20.1.
