Nerakyss, the Kraken

• Added a new two-stage boss fight.
  • Includes two cinematic cutscenes.
• Added a cursed ship guarded by the Kraken and its minions.
  • Can be found in deep ocean biomes.
  • Mod compatibility: spawns in any biome with the #block_factorys_bosses:kraken_ship tag.
• Added three variants of pirate skeleton minions.
• Drops 6-8 Kraken Teeth.

Weapons

Kraken Trident

• Crafted from 2 wooden sticks and 3 Kraken Teeth.
• 10x more durability (2500) and +1 attack damage (+9) compared to vanilla Trident.
• Always enchanted with Loyalty I.
• Pulls nearby mobs towards itself on collision.

Pirate Saber

• Dropped by killed pirates.
• Iron tier sword with 2000 durability, +9 attack damage, and -2.4 attack speed.
• On use, summons two pirates acting as the user's followers. This ability costs 10 durability.

Undying Tentacle

• Crafted from 3 Kraken Teeth.
• 1000 durability, +2 attack damage, -3 attack speed, +1 entity and block interaction range.
• On use, shoots out a tentacle wherever the user is aiming:
  • If a block is hit, propels the user towards it, allowing for quick escapes and better mobility.
  • If an entity is hit, propels the entity towards the user.
  • 2 second cooldown.
• When used for 2 seconds while sneaking, summons four Ghost Tentacles around the user.
  • Summoned tentacles hurt and launch into the air nearby enemies.
  • 2 second cooldown.

Blocks and items

• Kraken Cannon, capable of firing cannonballs at your foes.
• Decorative blocks:
  • dry and wet planks (with five variants each),
  • ship guardrail fence with a vertical diagonal variant,
  • pile of coins (in two sizes),
  • pile of planks,
  • cannonball,
  • ship lantern,
  • rope roll,
  • ship steering wheel,
  • net (climbable, in three variants),
• Decorative entities:
  • ship anchor,
  • stack of crates (up to six crates).
• Items:
  • Kraken Tooth.
• Added crafting recipes for some previously uncraftable decorations.
• Crafting recipes now get unlocked in the recipe book at appropriate times.

Other changes

• Decorative entities can no longer be broken by players in adventure mode.
• Fixed rare crash caused by accessing unbound registry keys for boss music.
• Reworked the cinematic cutscene system for better performance.
• Added advancements for defeating the Kraken, and for defeating the Kraken without getting hit.
• The Unbound advancement now also requires defeating the Kraken.

Configuration changes

• Common-side configuration is now server-sided.
  • Forge: A per-world server-side config can be found in world-name/serverconfig/block_factorys_bosses-server.toml - if this file doesn't exist during world loading, it will be initialized with a copy of defaultconfigs/block_factorys_bosses-server.toml or else a default config.
  • NeoForge: A global server-side config can be found in configs/block_factorys_bosses-server.toml, with per-world overrides in world-name/serverconfig/block_factorys_bosses-server.toml
  • Boss attribute and roll options can now be changed per world.
  • Fixes roll ability being available to players joining a server which disabled it.
• NeoForge: configuration files now follow the Forge naming conventions.
  • Any configuration changes will remain in the old file and must be manually copied to the new file.
  • bosses_rise_config.toml is now block_factorys_bosses-server.toml
  • bosses_rise_config.client.toml is now block_factorys_bosses-client.toml
