The datapack REQUIRES the provided resourcepack to play. [Latest Resource Pack Download]
[The next update for Blue Depths will be focused on expanding river life. Be sure to keep an eye out within the next few weeks (may be a slight delay because of final exams) for the next update: Roaring Rivers]
Blue Depths transforms Minecraft’s oceans into a living, breathing ecosystem, providing new creatures that Minecraft normally wouldn’t add (ahem… sharks).
Blue Depths is meant for players who want a deeper ocean experience without sacrificing performance or vanilla balancing. Players can conquer these new creatures and even raise them as their own, experiencing their life cycles.
Along with that, the datapack also adds a new difficult boss to the game, The Nameless Depth, a being lost to time and forgotten by the ocean.
An in-game guidebook can be crafted using a book and salmon, and provides a much better explanation of all the features.
Fully compatible with multiplayer.
Install the datapack along with its REQUIRED resourcepack, make sure the resourcepack is enabled You can watch this video on installing datapacks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrBUzc1CtK4 Craft the in-game guidebook for a comprehensive guide on Blue Depths.
Also, there is an easter egg for players to discover.
