Biomes of Overworld 1.6.2 - Fishing Expansion Update

This update adds a complete fishing expansion with new fish, fishing rods, cooking recipes, and a hidden Easter egg.

Added New Fish

Added 10 new fish to the Overworld:

• Minnow
• Sardine
• Bluegill
• Needle Fish
• Tilapia
• Trout
• Bass
• Cat Fish
• Pike
• Sturgeon

Each fish has its own rarity and food values, creating a progression from small catches to rare legendary fish.

Added Fishing Rods

Added two new fishing rods:

Light Weight Fishing Rod

• Designed for smaller fish.
• Can catch:
  • Minnow
  • Sardine
  • Bluegill
  • Needle Fish
  • Tilapia
  • Trout

Heavy Weight Fishing Rod

• Designed for larger fish.
• Can catch:
  • Tilapia
  • Trout
  • Bass
  • Cat Fish
  • Pike
  • Sturgeon

Custom fishing loot prevents vanilla fish from appearing when using these rods.

Added Cooked Fish Recipes

• Added cooked versions for all new fish.
• Cooked fish provide better food rewards.
• Larger fish give stronger food values.

Easter Egg

Added a hidden crafting recipe:

• Craft a Needle Fish into the Needle Fish Sword.
• The Needle Fish Sword is a fun joke weapon inspired by the sharp shape of the fish.
• It is not meant to be a powerful weapon, but a unique collectible.
