Fishing Expansion Part 2 Update

This update expands the fishing system with new fish, a new fishing rod, improved fishing progression, new cooking recipes, and new advancements.

Added New Fish

Added 5 new fish to the Overworld:

• Carp • Piranha • Black Fin Tuna • Blue Fin Tuna • Mahi Mahi

Each fish has its own rarity and food values. Larger and rarer fish provide better rewards when cooked.

Added Medium Weight Fishing Rod

Added a new fishing rod between the Light Weight and Heavy Weight Fishing Rods.

The Medium Weight Fishing Rod can catch:

• Bluegill • Needle Fish • Tilapia • Trout • Bass • Carp • Black Fin Tuna

The fishing progression has been improved:

• Light Weight Fishing Rod focuses on smaller and more common fish. • Medium Weight Fishing Rod catches medium sized fish with some rarer catches. • Heavy Weight Fishing Rod is focused on the largest and rarest fish.

Updated Fishing Rod Pools

Adjusted all fishing rods to better match fish sizes and rarity.

Light Weight Fishing Rod: • Minnow • Sardine • Bluegill • Piranha • Needle Fish • Tilapia • Trout

Medium Weight Fishing Rod: • Bluegill • Needle Fish • Tilapia • Trout • Bass • Carp • Black Fin Tuna

Heavy Weight Fishing Rod: • Bass • Carp • Cat Fish • Pike • Mahi Mahi • Sturgeon • Blue Fin Tuna

Added Cooked Fish Recipes

Added cooked versions for the new fish:

• Cooked Carp • Cooked Piranha • Cooked Black Fin Tuna • Cooked Blue Fin Tuna • Cooked Mahi Mahi

Cooked fish provide stronger food rewards depending on the size and rarity of the fish.

Added Fishing Advancements

Added new fishing progression advancements:

• First Catch • Rod Collector • Fish Collector

These advancements reward players for exploring the fishing system and collecting different fish.

Improvements

• Rebalanced fish rarity. • Improved fishing rod progression. • Added more variety to fishing gameplay. • Expanded the Overworld fishing experience.
