Biome Wands
Overview
Biome Wands adds two key features:
- Biome Wands, a one-stop-shop for setting any area of your choice to any biome you'd like.
- Biome Dust, giving a default 1,000 blocks (can be changed in
datapacks/biome_wand/functions/load.mcfunction) for you to use in converting areas.
Usage
You can craft the items with the recipes shown below. To use Biome Dust, right click with it to consume. To use the Biome Wand, crouch while holding it to set bounding points (similarly to WorldEdit) and right-click to open a book GUI.
Write your desired biome ID in the GUI (in format biome_id, do not add a namespace), and sign the book with any title. Your selected area will be filled.

FAQ
Is this compatible with custom biomes?
Yes! Mastrful's Biome Wands is fully compatible with all custom biomes from datapacks or mods.
It says "Invalid biome!", but I'm using the right one!
Due to the way Minecraft's /fillbiome command works, certain locations or small areas may not be able to be filled with certain biomes. You have to create a larger area.
Not all the blocks were filled in!
Again, due to the way Minecraft's /fillbiome command works using subchunks, not all areas will always be covered. Try to fill in the smaller areas again.
Known Issues
- The math for calculating how many blocks you've selected is slightly inaccurate in large areas (~±5% in each direction). This means it may take the wrong amount of Biome Dust blocks.
