BetterCosmic 2.0.0 Changelog

BetterPrisons is now BetterCosmic — rebuilt from the ground up. All your BetterPrisons features are here, plus a lot of new ones. Note that your config will have been reset

The Big Changes

• Brand-new config menu — a completely redesigned settings screen: cleaner layout, collapsible sections, a proper color picker, live theme colors, and a drag-and-drop HUD editor.

• Auto-updater — the mod now checks for new versions on launch and can download and install them for you automatically (every update is verified before it's installed). Toggle it off any time in General settings.

• Toast notifications — a new on-screen notification system for alerts that don't belong in chat.

• Server-aware — features now only turn on while you're actually on CosmicPrisons, so nothing clutters your screen anywhere else.

New Features

• Blink trinket preview — see where your Blink trinket will drop you before you use it.

• Meteor toggles — show or hide natural and summoned meteors separately on the Events HUD.

• Name mention alerts — get a notification when someone says your name in chat.

• Satchel backpack support — the Satchel HUD now reads backpacks too.

• Toggle every satchel — turn any individual satchel type in the game on or off in the HUD.

• "Only show full satchels" — an option to hide satchels until they're full.

• Full-satchel toasts — get a toast notification the moment a satchel fills up.

• White Scroll indicators — the Satchel HUD now shows the White Scroll status of your satchels.

• Clue scroll search — search any chest for clue scrolls by their step number (type the number in the search bar, or add a "clue #" filter rule).

• Clue scroll completed indicator — finished clue scrolls now show a check instead of a step number.

• More clue steps — Some of the new clue scroll steps that were previously unmapped have been added (please lmk if you have unmapped clue scrolls)

• Use-item-while-mining toggles — being able to hold right click while mining was a previous feature, a toggle option has been added to enable/disable this.

Improvements

• Compact Satchel HUD — a tighter, cleaner layout that takes up less space.

• Clue number outline — the clue-scroll step number now has a border so it's readable on any item.

• Updated PrisonBreak texture pack — refreshed ore textures.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed enchant book costs — corrected the upgrade-cost math shown on enchant books.
