Upgrade your server's survival experience with BetterEnchants! This lightweight, completely vanilla-friendly plugin adds 8 unique and powerful custom enchantments directly into your game without requiring any mods on the client side.
Whether you want to dash through the air, instantly chop down trees, or yank mobs towards you with a grappling bow, BetterEnchants has something for everyone.
🌟 The Enchantments
Here is a list of all the custom enchantments included:
- 💨 Dash (Max Level 3) | Swords: Right-click with your sword to launch yourself forward. Higher levels push you further and faster. Includes a cooldown.
- 🌌 Teleporter (Max Level 1) | Swords: Right-click to instantly teleport a short distance in the direction you are looking. Includes a cooldown.
- ⛏️ Vein Miner (Max Level 3) | Pickaxes: Break one ore, and the connected ores break automatically! Level 1 breaks up to 2 blocks, Level 2 breaks up to 4, and Level 3 breaks up to 10. (Disabled if using Silk Touch).
- 🔥 Auto Smelt (Max Level 1) | Pickaxes: Mining Raw Iron, Raw Gold, or Raw Copper automatically drops the smelted Ingot instead. (Disabled if using Silk Touch).
- 🪓 Tree Chopper (Max Level 1) | Axes: Break one log, and the entire tree falls down. Capable of breaking up to the max log limit set in your config.
- 🧲 Magnet (Max Level 3) | Armor or Held Item: Automatically pulls dropped items toward you as you walk near them. Higher levels increase the pull radius.
- 🦘 Double Jump (Max Level 1) | Boots: Press your jump button again while mid-air to get a boost! Automatically protects you from the fall damage of that jump. Includes a cooldown.
- 🎣 Puller (Max Level 3) | Bows & Crossbows: The "Super Puller"! When you shoot a mob or player with an arrow, they are violently yanked through the air right to your feet. Higher levels mean a stronger pull.
📖 How Players Get Them (Survival Integration)
BetterEnchants integrates perfectly with the vanilla game!
- The Enchantment Table: Whenever a player enchants a valid item (or a Book) in the standard Enchantment Table, there is a 20% chance the plugin will magically add one of these custom enchantments on top of the vanilla ones!
- Custom Books: Enchanting a regular Book in the table can yield a custom Enchanted Book with colored lore, which players can trade or store!
💻 Admin Commands & GUI
All commands require the betterenchants.admin permission. You can use /be or /betterenchants.
/be menu- Instantly opens a custom Creative Menu (Chest GUI) containing max-level books for every custom enchantment. Just drag and drop them into your inventory!/be getbook <enchantment> [level]- Spawns a custom enchanted book directly into your inventory./be enchant <enchant_name> [level]- Forces the custom enchantment onto whatever item you are holding in your hand. Great for testing!/be books <on/off>- Toggles whether players can get these custom enchants on books from the Enchantment Table./be disable <enchant_name>&/be enable <enchant_name>- Turns a specific enchantment completely on or off server-wide./be reload- Reloads theconfig.ymlso you don't have to restart the server when making changes.
⚙️ Highly Configurable
Almost everything in this plugin can be tweaked! A config.yml file is automatically generated in your plugins folder where you can adjust ability cooldowns, the strength of the Dash, the max logs chopped by Tree Chopper, the radius of the Magnet, and more!
