The Creaking is a very underpowered mob that is also completely avoidable in the base game. This datapack seeks to fix these 2 issues
Changes
Increased Creaking's speed and damage by a signifigant amount
Petrification:
When hit by a creaking you become more petrified
If hit enough times you will become petrified and will be immobilized for a short time
Being Petrified Gives you blindness (1.3+ only)
A meter above your hotbar shows how petrified you are
Night time in Pale Gardens:
This feature is disableable by using the commands (Enabled by Default)
"/function bettercreaking:disabletimewarp"
and "/function bettercreaking:enabletimewarp"
When enabled players in a pale garden and near creaking hearts won't be able to sleep through the night
And when in a pale garden and near a creaking heart, daytime only lasts a few seconds, while night lasts a regular amount of time
This change makes it very difficult to avoid running into the creaking when trying to explore a pale garden. But of course it is toggleable as I understand some people may not like this, especially in multi-player enviorments
