- Added cinematic camera cuts between scenes, removing the short awkward transition drift.
- Added smart camera obstruction handling:
- The camera now tries alternate angles if blocks, trees, or terrain block the focused Pokémon.
- If no clean angle is found, the camera moves closer before the obstruction.
- Added entity occlusion cleanup during cinematic scenes:
- Pokémon or players that physically block the focused Pokémon may be hidden temporarily.
- The focused Pokémon is never hidden.
- Added support for single and double battle framing.
- Added filtering by active Cobblemon battle ID so nearby battles no longer interfere with the camera.
**Mega Showdown Compatibility
Added compatibility hooks for Mega Showdown gimmicks.
- Added cinematic scenes for:
- Mega Evolution
- Ultra Burst
- Terastallization
- Dynamax-style transformations
- Form changes
- Gimmick scenes now focus on the correct Pokémon and ignore nearby battles.
- Visual gimmick detection is filtered by the active battle to avoid false triggers.
Improved
- Reworked camera anchors to use the center of Pokémon models instead of high/head-like points.
- Improved camera framing for damage and faint scenes so the camera faces the Pokémon from the battle side instead of from behind.
- Improved battle target resolution to avoid mixing Pokémon from separate nearby battles.
- Improved action scene priority:
- Damage interrupts move scenes immediately.
- Damage scenes are no longer interrupted once started.
- Faint scenes are queued cleanly after damage when needed.
- Improved scene duration for damage and move animations.
- Improved fallback behavior when battle targets are temporarily lost.
**Fixed
- Fixed the camera positioning itself between two nearby battles.
- Fixed abrupt half-second blending between cinematic scenes.
- Fixed damage/faint events not resolving because Cobblemon battle Pokémon UUIDs differed from world entity UUIDs.
- Fixed repeated damage scenes triggering multiple times from the same attack.
- Fixed cinematic focus being too high above Pokémon models.
- Fixed obstruction by entities during focused action scenes.
