🔋 BatteryCraft 1.0.0-beta.4 The new version of BatteryCraft is here! This update brings native Sodium integration, quieter battery reminders, and optimized profiles designed to prioritize lower resource usage and save energy.

✨ What's New & Key Changes 🎨 Native Sodium Video-Settings Pages

Find BatteryCraft directly under Options > Video Settings when using a compatible Sodium Config API. All 36 options adopt Sodium’s Apply/Cancel flow, complete with English and Spanish labels and tooltips.

🤫 Quieter Battery Reminders

Periodic battery messages are now disabled by default (including when upgrading from beta.3). Easily configure custom intervals, such as 15 min + 0 s or 30 min + 0 s.

⚡ Lighter Rendering Profiles

New default FPS caps:

🔋 On Battery: 120 FPS

🪫 Low Battery: 90 FPS

🚨 Critical Battery: 60 FPS

(Includes lower rendering and simulation distances. Custom profiles are fully preserved).

⚙️ Clearer FPS Control

The setting now reads "Maximum FPS on battery." Setting it to 0 maintains Minecraft's original cap—it does not necessarily mean unlimited FPS.

🔌 Smart Recovery & Auto Mode

Connecting external power in Automatic mode restores your original settings. The Smart Recovery feature protects those settings across unexpected shutdowns.

🛠️ Fixes & Quality Assurance 🐛 Startup Fix (Alpha.2): Sodium groups and pages are attached only after their contents are fully populated.

✅ 21 Automated Tests Passed: Includes regression coverage using Sodium 0.8.12's actual builders.

📦 JAR Verification: All three target JARs were built, verified for proper versioning, and translation-checked.

🎮 Tested & Working: Confirmed operational in Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabulously Optimized and Sodium 0.8.12.

ℹ️ Note: FPS and battery life gains have not been benchmarked; set FPS caps represent limits, not guaranteed frame rates.

📦 Installation Guide 🛑 Close Minecraft completely.

🔌 Ensure you have Fabric Loader and Fabric API installed.

🔄 Replace your previous BatteryCraft JAR file with the new matching version.

☕ Java Requirements:

Minecraft 1.21.x: Requires Java 21.

Minecraft 26.1.x / 26.2.x: Requires Java 25.

Note: The native settings menu requires a compatible Sodium Config API.
