If you're a builder it gives a small advantage

because you'll have to explore less for some blocks altho you won't ever find good terrain to build on without having to terraform

it's like they're about 20 blocks big I think. based on very science Doesn't change how biomes generate next to eachother so a desert still can't spawn next to a tundra. I think.
