Alpine

Remember to install if possible. It is currently not a requirement, but it is recommended. This may change in the future.

Geophilic is compatible. I recommend you install one of the two in datapack form. This will not be necessary in the future.

This version is mostly incompatible with other datapacks that add biomes.

Biomes

• Added the Alpine Forest
• Added the Burren
  • Known issue: Contour line stone generation closely follows chunk boundaries.
• Added the Cypress Swamp
• Added the Eucalypt Forest
• Added the Mixed Forest
• Added the Tundra
  • Known issue: Stone generation highlights cave systems near the surface.

This version also adds a single technical biome:

• Added the Tropical River

Reworks

• Reworked the Plains and Sunflower Plains biomes
• Reworked the Old Growth Spruce Taiga
• Reworked the Old Growth Birch Forest
• Reworked the trees in the Taiga biome; the biome will receive a full rework at a later point

Other changes

• Alpine adds a (theoretically) better optimized cliff feature to all Overworld biomes using Lithostitched
  • Stony Cliffs Are Cool is therefore unnecessary (and not recommended) when using Alpine
• Added a feature that makes coastlines in tropical biomes sandy
• Modified the water color and grass color of certain biomes
