A machine that turns junk into something worth keeping, two blocks that finally have a voice, and a creative tab you can actually read.

New

• The Recycler eats anything — stone, dirt, worn-out tools, whatever the chest sorter rejected. It does not trade you item for item: it fills a batch and casts a slag briquette.
• Mix your junk, not pile it. A stack of one thing pays poor slag. Roughly equal parts mineral, metal and burnable pay rich slag. Cobblestone forever is the worst way to feed it.
• The lamps on the front say what is inside. One lamp lit means one kind of junk and a poor result; three lit means the mix is right. You can read the machine while walking past it.
• Blades wear out and matter. Iron is slow and hates scrap metal, tempered is smelted from iron in any furnace, diamond is fastest and leaves the least ash.
• The ash bin needs emptying. Three quarters full slows the machine down, full stops it — put a hopper underneath and forget about it.
• Slag is not dead weight: it presses into a block, burns as fuel, and the ash makes grey dye.
• No filter, on purpose. Misroute a pipe and your diamond armour is slag. Wire it carefully.

Sound

• The Alloy Smelter rings with induction heat while it melts, and falls quiet the moment it stops.
• The Electric Heater crackles with hot nichrome from the first rung of its glow, not only at full heat — a coil warming up is already spending power. It deliberately does not hiss: the Vulcanizer standing on it hisses steam already.

Improved

• The creative tab reads by subject now: everything placeable first, everything carryable after, each subject in one unbroken run. Inside a subject the full blocks come before the shaped ones.
• Ore pages on the guide site show where to dig — a cross-section where each row holds as many ore blocks as the world really generates, with the best level marked.
