Aden's Additions

New Additions:

• Peridot now acts as a trim material
• Added experimental chain rendering logic
• All special blocks now have the soul fire and soul speed tags

Revamps to how Perithyst is obtained:

• Calcite Altar block is added, crafted from four calcite and one peridot; this block can be right clicked with Peridot to store it
• When a Budding Amethyst block is placed on a soul campfire surrounded by a bunch of peridot filled calcite altars, then it slowly converts into Budding Perithyst
• Budding Perithyst now only grows crystals when this setup is satisfied
• Budding Perithyst and Perithyst Block textures changed
• Added recipes to Budding Amethyst and Budding Perithyst
• When Perithyst crystals grow, they have a chance to consume Peridot from the altar
• Removed Peridot Composite Clump crafting recipe
• Budding Perithyst now emits particles when in the setup and when being transformed
• Peridot Composite Clump no longer changes blocks/mobs
• Peridot Composite Clumps have a particle trail and new particles on impact
• Added reversible Peridot Composite Block into Peridot Composite recipe
• Walking on Budding Perithyst while the setup is active inflicts fifteen seconds of the new Aberrant Effect
• Aberrant Effect applies a green overlay on player hearts, stops regeneration, and if the mob is a kind of zombie, it transforms it into the sightseer
• New Perithyst Particle textures and animations
• Placing a Raw Copper Block on Budding Perithyst, while the setup is active, will cause the block to emit particles before breaking into one or two Peridot Composite Clumps; this process has a chance to consume Peridot
• Placing a potted plant onto the Budding Perithyst that has the setup causes it to be transformed into a potted Perithyst Perennial, consuming a Peridot

Raptorial Armor Rebalanced:

• Rebalanced durability and armor points to be consistent with vanilla
• Raptorial armor now has the durability that is 2x of netherite, but has the protection value of iron armor
• Armor enchantability is the same as netherite
• Armor toughness is now the same as netherite
• Armor description text added
• Full set bonus applies the Negated Fall Effect, which removes all fall damage with the cost of durability (ten blocks fallen equals one durability point removed)
• Altered the texture of Raptorial Armor

Perithyst Scythe Changes:

• Scythe particle logic has changed (less particles and they persist for the full dash time)
• Scythe riptide display logic now persists for the full dash duration and overrides the original texture
• Scythe small and large texture have changed
• Scythe model has changed
• Scythe model now appears on the back of the player when in the offhand, with physics
• Scythe damage is now the same as a Netherite Sword (Eight damage)
• Scythe attack speed is now faster than a trident but slower than a sword (1.25 attack cooldown)
• Secret scythe variant (only available with commands) is added with alternative textures
• Removed scythe subtitles to display current dashes and multipliers
• Scythe dashes are now displayed through an overridden durability bar
• Scythe no longer breaks after relogging or dying
• Scythe no longer requires Perithyst charges to reset the cooldown
• Perithyst Scythe no longer has multiple charges when unenchanted, only having one
• Perithyst Scythe dash distance reduced
• Perithyst Scythe description has been updated
• All current scythe enchantments have been removed, with new enchantments replacing them (New enchantment descriptions also added):
• Acceleration Enchantment (Max Level: 4): Any level of Acceleration sets the maximum amount of charges to three; each level increases the total dash distance and decreases the charge recovery time
• Fracture Enchantment (Max Level: 3): After dashing, the next hit done by the player (whether dashing or attacking normally) applies extra damage with added sounds and particles; each level increases the damage multiplier (Level 1: 1.5x damage; Level 2: 2.0x damage; Level 3: 2.5x damage)
• Overcharge Enchantment (Max Level: 1): When the total amount of available charges left is one, the Perithyst Scythe will consume Perithyst Shards instead of charges if available

Sightseer Changes:

• New model, sounds, texture, and animations
• Increased damage, speed, knockback
• Decreased armor toughness
• Increased attack range and hitbox size
• New worship ability, which debuffs all surrounding entities with Nausea and Slowness and plays new animation and sound with particles (except for people with a full set of Raptorial Armor and other Sightseers)
• Sightseer now attacks all mobs, and inflicts Aberrant upon attacking
• Removed Sightseer distortion ability
• Sightseer now explodes upon death with particles
• Altered textures for Tattered Plates and Tattered Skin
• Eating Tattered Skin now inflicts Shard Synthesis
• Sightseer Egg texture changed
• Tattered Plates are now crafted into Tattered Plate Bricks and their variants
• Sightseers are passive towards people with a full set of Raptorial Armor
• Sightseers are tempted by Perithyst Shards
• Sightseers have been renamed to Aberrations

Removed many previous features:

• Removed all trinkets
• Removed all previous enchantments
• Removed Copper Composite Clump, Copper Composite block set, Composite Conductor, Bottle o’ Lightning and all affiliated recipes
• Removed Thalassphalt Blockset
• Removed Mauve Wood block set and fungus blocks
• Removed/revamped various advancements
• Removed Additional Creative Mode Tab
