Welcome to another weird zoology update! This one's focused on that domestic lifestyle, with some new friends for you to make, and the ability to tame some older creatures too.
- Six New Animals!
The Bearded Dragon!
These new lizards are tameable, and mostly just dope around.
The Cornsnake
These snakes are also tameable and can be picked up. While in your hand, they will detect if lava is nearby - very useful for when your mining in the nether!
The King Vulture
A huge(and our first) bird of prey, they drop eggs and feathers like the rest, but they also are also strong enough to fight against hostile mobs. They are scavengers and love the taste of zombies, and have been known to pick them up and then drop them..
The Reindeer
These great deer are tameable and rideable. While being ridden, they will plow through snow and grass. Great landscapers!
Ghostfish
These strange deep-sea fish are a rare sight! Some say they have the ability to make you forget everything…
Sea Pangolin
These creatures use iron as part of themselves! This iron can be purified to get normal iron, or it can look good on its own too!
Horseshoe Crab
These blasts from the past bring with them a new type of shield!
Small Changes/Bug Fixes
Turacos now drop feathers way less Giant Elands are now rideable and tameable using onions Most animals will now generate resources faster using joyizers.
A lot of these have been rebalanced to make it a bit easier. This is still something I’m keeping an eye on in the future, so feedback on joyizer rates would be really appreciated!
DNA now has rarity to it - extinct animals are rarer than normal ones.
This is also something I’m considering rebalancing as well - perhaps deep sea animals, which are harder to keep, should be rarer
