1.2.0: Cosmic Oddities

After a long wait, Starfall 1.2 is finally here! The pack has been completely reworked from the ground up for performance and better mechanics!

Additions

• Comets and Comet Shards, a rarer form of Falling Stars for extra excitement! Eat a comet shard for a minute of night vision!
• Appearance sounds, a signal when Falling Stars and Comets appear!
• Astrology Advancement Tab with 18 Advancements!
• Custom Statistic and Credits Dialog
• Zodiacs! Select a zodiac for an extra boost to your falling star rate and comet frequency on certain moon phases!
• Zodiac Emblem: The item used to change your zodiac!
• Abstract Artifact: A unique item used to summon a Cosmic Pet! These pets are nigh indestructible and can be recalled by using the Artifact again. There is a variant for all 8 zodiacs.
• Moon Blossom: A flower that blooms according to the moon phase!
• Sparkle Sword: A unique sword that creates bursts of particles every 5 hits!
• Vision Stone: A replacement for the Illuminant Crown that highlights mobs in a large radius!
• Glimmers: A hostile mob that has a chance to appear when breaking Fallen Stars. Attacks by summoning mini-stars above a player that deal damage on impact. Drops a lot of Star Fragments and occasionally an Illuminant Crown or Sparkle Sword. Don't try to use cover! They'll punish you!
• New Painting: "Adored"! It is a 3x4 painting so it's super easy to get! Check it out!
• Added Star Showers! An uncommon event that spawns 3-5 falling stars at once! They give slightly less star fragments and experience but it's still so fun!!

Changes

• Falling Stars have been reworked to leave behind a display entity you must break to collect the Star Fragments. There is also an experience reward.
• Outlander Trades have been rebalanced and now take Comet Shards for more premium items. Now has trades that are unlocked when a player enters the Nether and End.
• Star Pendant has been renamed to Astral Pendant and now must be held for 5 seconds before using it. It also requires sky access at nighttime, but can take other players and mounts with it. Taking damage resets the charge.
• Shade Cloak has been renamed to Twilight Cloak. It now gives 2 armor and becomes invisible with the player (does not reduce mob vision sadly). It removes your zodiac team and locator bar waypoint as well.
• Star Fragment and Comet Shard can now be used as trim materials!
• Star Fragments no longer provide nutrition but give 15s of Glowing instead of 10s.
• Added detailed tooltips to most items.
• Reworked every texture in the pack.
• Added panorama and edition images.
• Outlander now has working legs!!!

Technical

• Starfall now runs using the Thallium library pack. This makes it incredibly compatible with Fathoms (please play it it's so good I promise I was not paid off) and other packs that run using Thallium.
• Thallium Item Updater is operational so your old worlds can be easily ported to the new version with minimal consequences.

Nerdy Detail Stuff

• Outlander now spawns with 8 set cat variants, each with a set breed and collar color. They also have internal names in the code!
• Reworked the pack's built in commands so you can now spawn stars directly above you, summon mobs, set your zodiac, and more!
• Killing the Outlander causes respawns to take longer and gives a 30s Bad Luck effect, but you won't see this, right?

• There is an Outlander trade function tag that you can use to add your own trades or change the existing ones, "#starfall:outlander_trades"!
• Try using Wolf Armor on your cosmic pet! I felt so smart figuring out how to get them to drop the armor with the right durability and color!
• Added cool icons to some advancements that aren't just stupid items! They're really cool you should try it out.
• I love stealing vanilla advancements because I can make silly modifications like added Happy Ghasts to the Ghast Spyglass advancement like why isn't that a thing?????
