Custom Boss Template - Version 1.0.0

Initial Release 🎉

This is the first public version of the Custom Boss Template datapack.

What's Included:

• Fully configurable custom boss with 1000 HP
• 10 editable fight phases that trigger automatically based on health
• Smart movement AI (boss always faces and walks toward the nearest player)
• Bossbar with nice styling
• Minion spawning system (example: "Friend from the garage")
• Custom attack every 3 seconds
• Victory screen with particles, sound and reward
• Detailed instructions on how to customize everything

Easy Customization:

• Change boss name, health, attack damage and items in spawn.mcfunction
• Edit all 10 phases, messages, effects and minions in stages.mcfunction
• Modify attack frequency and damage in tick_logic.mcfunction
• Change victory reward in victory.mcfunction
• Everything is well commented and beginner-friendly

Technical Info:

• Works on Minecraft 1.21 – 1.21.5 (recommended: 1.21.1)
• Pure vanilla datapack — no mods required
• Uses modern item components (1.21+)

How to use:

1. Put the datapack in your world's datapacks folder
2. Run /reload
3. Spawn the boss with /function boss:spawn

Important: A resource pack is planned for the next update to allow custom textures and models for the boss and held items.
